Author Interview with To The Sea writer, Nikki Crutchley

Nikki Crutchley very kindly did a very special pre-recorded interview especially for Wellington City Libraries, talking about to us about To The Sea, her writing processes and even giving us a sneak insight into her brand-new book In Her Blood.

Since To The Sea was first published in 2021, local and international readers have been spellbound and captivated by the book, propelling this dark and atmospheric page turner to the top of the bestseller and popularity charts. The book takes place in a remote location on the New Zealand coastline, with a family holding long hidden secrets that threaten to emerge when a stranger enters their world. This twisty gothic novel has even drawn comparisons with the work of Daphne du Maurier!
