What's in the kit?
Each DVD player kit consists of:
- 1 x DVD player (Multi-Zone with HDMI, Composite Video & USB Port connections)
- 3 x connector/charging cables – HDMI, RCA & Composite Video
- DVD player FAQ sheet
- DVD Player User Manual
How does it work?
- You may borrow one DVD Player Kit at a time for 3 weeks
- DVD Player Kits can be reserved
- DVD Player Kits cannot be renewed
- The DVD Player Kit borrower is responsible for checking out and returning the entire kit and is fully responsible for its return, as well as any replacement costs for damaged / lost items or a whole set
How much does it cost?
- DVD Player Kits are free to borrow
- $80 charge for a lost kit

The kits can be borrowed from and returned to a different library and can be reserved or moved to another library for pick-up.
Terms and Conditions (found below) to borrow this equipment are in place to ensure the safe use of the equipment and its timely return.

Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions, listed below, are to help customers understand Library procedures and their responsibilities when borrowing DVD Player Kits.
These terms and conditions are in addition to standard library membership conditions e.g. "I undertake to return all items borrowed from the library by the due date, and to pay all rental fees, loan extension fees, damages and replacement charges that are incurred".
Eligibility and responsibilities of DVD Player kit customers
- All borrowers of the DVD Player Kit are Wellington City library members with current library cards.
- The borrower is responsible for the DVD Player Kit, which is issued on their library card. They are fully responsible for its return, as well as any replacement costs for lost items or a damaged/lost DVD Player Kit.
- DVD Player Kits will be issued by a Libraries staff member.
- The DVD Player Kit must be returned to a library staff member, who will check them for missing items and damage before returning it.
Loan conditions
- The lending period is 3 weeks, with no renewals.
- There are no overdue fees, but if, 30 days after the due date, the DVD Player Kit has not been returned, it becomes "lost" and the borrower's card will be blocked, as with other library items.
- The fees for lost/damaged items within the Kit will be:
- $80 charge for a lost/damaged CD Player.
- The DVD Player Kit can be returned to a different library from the one it was issued at, and can be reserved or moved to another library for pick-up.
