These lendable CD players enable you to listen to our music collection and enjoy audiobook stories with your whānau!
What's in the kit?
Each CD player kit consists of:
- 1 x CD player (Bluetooth compatibility/built-in stereo speakers)
- 1 x Panasonic headphones
- 1 x JBL portable Bluetooth speaker
- 2 x connector/charging cables
- CD player FAQ sheet
How does it work?
- You may borrow one CD Player Kit at a time for 3 weeks
- CD Player Kits can be reserved for collection at a branch of your choosing
- CD Player Kits cannot be renewed
- The CD Player Kit borrower is responsible for checking out and returning the entire kit and is fully responsible for its return, as well as any replacement costs for damaged / lost items or a whole set.
How much does it cost?
- CD Player Kits are free to borrow.
- $160 charge for a lost kit.
Where can I find them?
CD Player Kits are held in 5 branch libraries:
- Te Awe (CBD)
- Te Awa-a-Taia | Ruth Gotlieb (Kilbirnie)
- Te Māhanga | Karori
- Waitohi | Johnsonville
- Ngā Puna Waiora | Newtown
The kits can be borrowed from and returned to a different library and can be reserved or moved to another library for pick-up.
Terms and Conditions (found below) to borrow this equipment are in place to ensure the safe use of the equipment and its timely return.
