The WCL Zinio collection includes hundreds of current magazine titles with the same layout on the screen as they have in print, complete with photographs, graphics and even interactive content in some. Many of the magazines are available at the same time or sooner than their print editions. The range of magazines is wide, including photography, business, sports, news, crafts, 'lifestyle', computers, music and more. NZ Geographic has been celebrating our people, places, wildlife and environment for two decades. Its archives hold more than 600 in-depth features about our country, natural history and culture. You can now use your library card to gain access to all these features online, seeing the magazine with the same layout on the screen as it has in print. Designed specifically for public libraries, this huge EBSCO database provides full text for thousands of general periodicals covering a range of subjects including current affairs, business, entertainment, education, health, general science, multi-cultural issues and much more. In addition to the full text, it provides indexing and abstracts for thousands of other titles. This database also features: full text Magill Book Reviews, reference and travel books including the World Almanac & Book of Facts 2001; full text from biographies, full text primary source documents, and an image collection of hundreds of thousands of photos, maps and flags.

The Australia/NZ Reference Centre combines Australia and New Zealand specific magazines, newspapers & newswires, reference books, and company information to create the largest collection of regional full text content available. Business Source Premier
The valuable resource, Business Source Premier, provides you with remote access from home or work to a huge range of scholarly business, management and economics journals, including full text to the Harvard Business Review, New Zealand Management, Forbes, California Management Review, and New Zealand Business. In addition to the fulltext for more than 2,100 journals, another 1,800 journals are indexed. In addition, access to non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and SWOT analyses.Content is updated daily and is particularly strong in marketing, management, MIS and economics.
Index New Zealand
Index New Zealand (INNZ) is an index with abstracts from selected New Zealand serial publications, including newspapers, and nearly 300 journals about New Zealand and the South Pacific.
INNZ is updated daily and approximately 2,000 documents are added monthly. Subjects covered include general interest material, social research, current affairs, the arts and humanities. Comprehensive coverage of titles extends from 1987 onwards. Many New Zealand titles have also been retrospectively indexed.
ProQuest Research Library
(Previously known as Academic Research Library)
Search for coverage from 1971 onwards on a broad range of subjects including arts, business, children, education, general interest, health, humanities, international, law, military, multicultural, psychology, sciences, social sciences, and women's interests. Features a diversified mix of scholarly journals, trade publications, magazines, and newspapers. Nearly 4,000 titles, over 2,800 in full text.
Dragon source provides access to hundreds of Chinese language magazines in both simplified and traditional Chinese including Vogue, Reader's Digest, and Phoenix weekly. These can all be viewed on your pc or mobile device browser. The database can be searched using title, keyword, or alternatively simply click on the magazine covers.
Wellington City Libraries holds over 3000 magazine titles. Titles include Scientific American, Rolling Stone, Time, Harvard Business Review, Metro and Vanity Fair.
