The Kiwi Conservation Club (KCC) is a fun and interactive club for kids like you who love the environment, nature and wildlife. The Summer holidays are the perfect time to join up, learn more about conservation and have heaps of fun in the outdoors. You'll be encouraged to explore and go on adventures in places like the rocky sea shore, forests and regional parks. Check it out!

Chinese Language Storytimes
Free monthly storytimes at Karori Library
These fun storytimes will run on the last Thursday of each month at 3.30pm, starting on 26th Jan. Perfect for Chinese language speakers or those wanting to learn.
Zoo Whiz: a great site for learning maths, spelling and reading, with a neat twist -- when you complete an activity, you earn "coins" to spend for your online zoo!
Language Nut: a fun way to learn different languages for kids and adults. There are songs, stories and games for each language so you'll be adding to your vocabulary without really realising it! (To get started, type in your library card number into the box on Language Nut labelled "barcode".)
Oddizzi: a fun, interactive way to learn about countries. Need to find out about a country or have a topic about the natural world to research? Just login by typing "Wellington" and "oddizzi"
TumbleBooks: TumbleBooks offers picture books, chapter books and non-fiction books, which you can read, or have read to you! There are educational videos and games, animation, sounds and music.
Encyclopaedia Britannica: Britannica Junior edition contains thousands of short articles on subjects for school and for fun. From countries, to animals and sports; it also includes pictures, videos, and links to other websites.
